Charm SL Beta-lactam Test for Milk Charm SL (Safe Level) Beta-lactam Test is specifically designed to meet US Safe Levels and Tolerances for commonly used beta-lactam drugs. US Safe Levels have been adopted by or are similar to regulatory levels for Canada, Mexico and other countries. Since its approval, the Charm SL has become the standard milk test for the entire North American industry. Charm MRL Beta-lactam Test for Milk Charm MRLBL is specifically designed to detect more beta-lactam residues in milk at levels closest to established EU and CODEX Maximum Residue Limits (MRLs) than any other milk test. Charm MRLBL3 Beta-lactam Test for Milk
Charm MRLBL3 is the first 3 minute beta-lactam test specifically designed to meet EU/CODEX MRL levels. Its unprecedented speed allows milk to be tested while the tanker is being prepared to be pumped into the plant or at the farm.
MRLBL3 detects common beta-lactams at or below EU MRL including cloxacillin, ceftiofur, cephapirin and cefquinome.

Charm SL Kiwi Test for Milk The Charm SL Kiwi test is specifically manufactured to detect cefalonium (cephalonium) closer to the EU MRL (20 ppb) in milk. Existing rapid β-lactam test kits detect this dry cow administered drug at overly sensitive levels, typically below 5 ppb. The Charm SL Kiwi test detects cefalonium residues at 15.3 ppb in milk, which is a better match to established microbial inhibition assays, and a fairer test to the dairy producer.
