Bob has degrees in biochemistry and engineering. He started at Charm in 1982 as a scale-up engineer while providing oversite of product manufacturing, quality, and service. Since 1992, as Vice President of Regulatory Affairs, Bob has facilitated over 50 government and organizational approvals for products utilizing 3rd party verification. He oversees microbiology production and research and development (R&D). He has 10 patents and 20 publications in the rapid detection of chemical and microbial hazards to food and water.

Bob manages quality system implementation, attaining Charm’s ISO 9001 certification for microbial test manufacture. With affiliations in ISO, IDF, NCIMS, AOAC, and IAFP, Bob has established a network of contacts for future product, service, and business development.
